Robux to real money calculator

See what Robux cost and what Roblox pays you for them, in your currency. They are two very different numbers.

Buying Robux is not the same as cashing out

When you buy Robux you pay around 1 cent per Robux. But when you earn Robux selling clothing or passes and exchange them for money through DevEx, Roblox pays 0.0038 dollars per Robux: roughly a third.

That's why this calculator shows both numbers. Players care about the cost to buy; creators care about what they will cash out.

How to use the calculator

  1. Choose Robux to money or money to Robux.
  2. Type the amount and pick your currency.
  3. For buying, the calculator finds the cheapest mix of packages for that amount, both on the web and on mobile.

Package prices are in US dollars and are converted with today's exchange rate. Roblox charges local prices in some countries, so treat it as a reference.

It depends on whether you buy or cash out. Buying on the web costs between 0.009 and 0.01 dollars per Robux, depending on the package. If you earn them as a creator and cash out with DevEx, Roblox pays 0.0038 dollars per Earned Robux.

You need at least 30,000 Earned Robux, which is 114 dollars. You also must be 13 or older, have a verified email, a DevEx portal account and a W-8 or W-9 tax form on file.

Can I cash out Robux I bought?

No. DevEx only accepts Earned Robux, for example from selling clothing, passes or products in your games. Bought or gifted Robux cannot be cashed out.

Why do I get fewer Robux on mobile for the same price?

App stores take their own commission, so Roblox gives more Robux when you buy on the web, on PC or with gift cards.

Did the DevEx rate change?

Yes. Since September 5, 2025 the standard rate is 0.0038 dollars per Robux. It used to be 0.0035, and Robux earned before that date still cash out at the old rate.
